Academic Curriculum

Ecwa secondary school, Ganmo runs a six-year programme divided into two sections - The Junior Secondary School (JSS) and the Senior Secondary School (SSS) in accordance with the National Policy on Education, simply described as the 6-3-3-4 system of education. As the School awaits the (9-3-4) New National policy on Education.

SECTION I:- Junior Secondary School.

The first 3 years are spent in the junior school. Students are prepared for the Junior Secondary Certificate Examinations (JSCE) State and National Examination Council (NECO) Federal. 

The following subjects are available for study:-

Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Physical & Health Education, English Language, Buisness Studies, Introductory Technology, French, Music, Home Economics, Yoruba, Fine Art, Computer Science, Intergrated Science, Christian Religious Studies & Social Studies.

SECTION II:- Senior Secondary School.

At the Senior Secondary School, students are prepared for the following :- 

I.     WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination)
II.   NECO SSCE (National Examination Council)
